The client owned a prime location in Duluth, surrounded by 20 schools and 14 shopping centers – a natural traffic goldmine. However, they had zero background in the indoor playground business. Meanwhile, local competitors were already well-established. The risk of making costly mistakes in layout, equipment selection, and safety compliance was extremely high.
They needed a partner who could provide complete problem-solving, not just sell equipment. They chose CHOWCHOW PLAY.




Instead of guessing what works, we conducted a thorough market analysis and selected a mix of attractions that directly addressed local demand and competitive gaps.



We divided the 5,574㎡ space into five functional zones, each designed to attract different age groups and maximize daily traffic:

Trampoline Zone: Free jump, angled trampolines, slam dunk, spider wall, foam pit
Adventure Zone: High ropes course, balance bridge, go-karts, 360-degree bikes
Climbing Zone: Cube climbing, bouldering, artistic climbing, competitive climbing, jump tower
Soft Play Castle Zone: Wave slides, vertical drop slides, interactive projection games
Leisure & Support Zone: 10 party rooms, dining area, prize machines, arcade games


To differentiate from existing local FECs, we recommended high-impact, low-maintenance equipment that competitors lacked:

Go-karts & 360-degree bikes – rare in the area, creating strong word-of-mouth

Multi-type climbing matrix – appeals to both kids and teens

Vertical drop & wave slides – high thrill factor within a safe soft-play structure

10 dedicated party rooms – directly targeting the high-demand birthday party market, ensuring weekend bookings months in advance
All equipment was manufactured in CHOWCHOW PLAY’s own factory, meeting ASTM safety standards – no third-party quality risks.
